I haven't gotten a chance to play with these applications yet BUT I was frustrated that their download page requires each application to be downloaded separately (nearly 1 MB each). This took tons of clicks and only allowed two concurrent downloads per browser so lots of dialogs and remembering where I was in the process, etc. So, for our collective convenience, I've gathered the
article and all
30 down-loadable EXEs into a
single zip file. The zip file is rather large (20 MB) so I hope I don't crash our servers with people downloading my
package of Microsoft's stuff. The only other downside to my approach is that Microsoft won't get the count of how many downloads were launched for each application. I can live with that.
